Client Commissioned Face Mask - "Castalia"
Client requested a Grecian inspired Masquerade mask for her daughter in Teal and Gold and gave me complete artistic license to create this fun project.
I decided on the name "Castalia"; in Greek mythology Apollo transformed a nymph, Castalia, into a fountain at Delphi. She was said to inspire the genius of poetry to those who drank her waters or listened to their quiet sound.
It's a name fitting for the teal and blue colors of tranquil waters and the gold of the embellishments often used in Grecian design.
